A PT/INR test helps ensure the effectiveness of the anticoagulant drug warfarin (Coumadin®) and that prothrombin time and the internationally normalized ratio are appropriately prolonged.

 

The PT/INR test is an easy-to-use finger-stick blood test, designed for professional or home use, that provides highly accurate results within 2 minutes. The dry reagent strips can be stored at room temperature for immediate use for up to 18 months, with no equilibration required.
